The floating bed

Inspired by the structure of nature, the bed consists of repetitive modules connected together to build one bed shell. Each module is composed of three types of bent solid wood slats that interleave, overlap, rise, and fall, giving it the appearance of a floating bed. The bent slats give ventilation, stability and uniform support to the mattress, while letting positive energy flow. The sleeping base can become the base for a living platform, by adding or removing its components on both sides of the bed.
